With somewhere between 16 and 18 spots "locked down" for the 23-player roster, US coach, Bradley will continue to monitor players, especially those recovering from injury, before deciding on the 26 to 28 players he will bring to training camp on May 15 in Princeton. Bradley said he will likely announce the training camp roster on May 11, FIFA's deadline for the 30-man preliminary roster. The final roster is due June 1, the day after the team leaves for South Africa.
Due to an injury, forward Davies remains a longshot.
