English Fans choose "their" team for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa

According to the votes so far, this is how England should line up:
Goalkeeper: Joe Hart (Birmingham City)
Defenders: Glen Johnson (Liverpool), John Terry(Chelsea), Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United)
Ashley Cole (Chelsea)
Midfielders: Aaron Lennon (Tottenham Hotspur),Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Gareth Barry (Manchester City), James Milner(Aston Villa), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Striker: Wayne Rooney (Manchester United).
Close behind this XI were a number of other World Cup hopefuls, including keeper David James, midfield men Joe Cole and Theo Walcott, and strikersJermain Defoe and Peter Crouch.
The agreement on defence seems fairly unanimous although Ledley King andWes Brown polled enough votes to give them hope of breaking in.
