US World Cup Roster Decisions 2010

U.S soccer forward Charlie Davies jogs during a training session last week at the Auguste Bonal stadium in Montbeliard, eastern France, for his French club team. Davies has resumed training less than six months after he was nearly killed in a car accident in Virginia.  With somewhere between 16 and 18 spots "locked down" for the 23-player roster, US coach, Bradley will continue to monitor players, especially those recovering from injury, before deciding on the 26 to 28 players he will bring to training camp on May 15 in Princeton.
Bradley said he will likely announce the training camp roster on May 11, FIFA's deadline for the 30-man preliminary roster. The final roster is due June 1, the day after the team leaves for South Africa.
Due to an injury, forward Davies remains a longshot.Bookmark and Share
